This is one of our favorite services. We happily use the best products available to mount a microphone into your drum ensuring the best quality of sound with the cleanest aesthetic. This service covers 1 drum but will include sound testing for optimal microphone placement PRIOR to installation. Drummer’s Services offers microphones for sale OR we can install the mics your currently own.
This service includes:
Remove resonant drumhead to test microphone placement.
Measure microphone placement to install mounting system into that position.
Locate, drill and Install XLR port allowing for better cable management.
Install microphone onto mounting system.
Test system to ensure sonic continuity.
Install resonant drumhead.
Retune drum to original preferences or to enhance overall drum sound.
Installation does NOT include required microphones, parts or accessories for installation.
